Board of Directors

The ownership of the Credit Union rests with its members, who are chosen to participate on the Board, Supervisory, and Credit Committees. Additionally, the Credit Union operates in accordance with its by-laws, which provide guidance and structure.

Board Members

The Board of Directors, consisting of seven (7) members, leads the governance of SMCCUL, with the Chairman serving as its head. Their primary responsibilities include overseeing management, developing business affairs, and making significant policy decisions for the credit union.

The Governance team of St. Mary's Co-operative Credit Union Ltd comprises the following members:

Supervisory Committee

The Supervisory Committee performs the functions of audit and supervision of all aspects of operations so that the affairs of the Society are in accordance with legislation & regulations, the bye-laws and the approved standards and policies of the credit union.

The Committee includes:

Staff

The Credit Committee is responsible for approving and reviewing loans and ensuring that they are granted in accordance with the approved loan policy and provide prudent oversight of the loans portfolio.

The Staff includes:

Danleigh Giraudel – Loan Officer

Credit Committee

The primary responsibility of the Credit Committee is to approve and review loans, ensuring that they align with the approved loan policy and maintaining diligent oversight of the loans portfolio.

The Committee consists of the following members:
